Lunch & Learn
People who work in a happy work environment produce greater outcomes than those who don’t. However, Gallop polls have shown that over 70% of the American workforce is dis-engaged with their jobs. This statistic is alarming and can have lasting negative effects on an organization’s performance.
Learn how to infuse gratitude and appreciation into your workforce culture by understanding the science of happiness. Leave with a 3-step process to begin a grateful lifestyle. We guarantee you’ll leave happier than when you arrived!
When we are positive, our brain becomes more engaged, creative, motivated, energetic, and resilient which results in increased productivity at work. This discovery has been borne out repeatedly through rigorous research in psychology and neuroscience, management studies and the bottom lines of organizations around the world. One of the greatest competitive advantages in the modern economy is a positive, engaged workforce.
During this session, participants will learn the why’s behind the need for a positive workforce culture and how to create this climate in their organization. The study of Positive Psychology will be introduced as a foundation for replicating the good things in life that work. Organizational success stories will be shared to model the value of appreciation and gratitude in the workplace.
Leadership skills that cultivate positivity in the workplace will be examined, along with tools and techniques for developing these skills. Individuals will leave with a 21-Day Happiness Starter Kit that, when implemented, will have a significant effect on their work performance and personal lives.

You’ve developed a positive workforce culture where employees thrive and are completely engaged. Preparing a new employee to embody the nuances of your culture will have a positive effect on their joining your team. Your new employees will be introduced to the

This onboarding video will include a custom logo and when possible, a video of a key executive welcoming the new employee to your team.
I am interested in training…
The Gratitude Luncheon was fabulous!!! The presentation by you was amazing! I can’t say enough, how your presentation affected everyone in the room. Thanks again for sharing your personal story. You have made us all think of how each of us can change the attitude in the office. THANK YOU!!!! We would like you to come back to our office and share with Legal management!
Loved it. The company has been working on ways to get our employees more engaged. For some reason, the staff seems more receptive to your message regarding engagement than the company’s. Thank you!
I have never attended this presentation before but truly enjoyed it. You are so positive and motivating!!! I think my favorite part of the presentation would have to be how refreshing it was. Definitely made me leave the presentation with a better perspective. I look forward to possibly attending more in the future.
I immensely enjoyed your presentation! I tried to catch you at the convention to tell you in person but missed you.I think it was refreshing for a legal convention and am so glad I attended because of it. My favorite part was your statistics on the measurable effects of our attitude and stress on our bodies. Are you presenting it again soon? I would love to see it again!
Thank you again for sharing and encouraging an Attitude of Gratitude!
I have seen your presentation twice now and have loved it both times. You have a gift for connecting with your audiences because you are real and genuine. I heard so many gals say how touched they were by your presentation and they vow to make a change in their lives. I agree. I now know more than ever the importance of PERSPECTIVE in my personal life and in my career. I am hoping my attitude rubs off on my co-workers,clients, and family because it truly is all about perspective.
Your presentation was a breath of fresh air in a busy day! I liked that you included the physiological aspects of gratitude. There is a growing body of science in this field and related fields, and commend to you some scientific talks a colleague shared with me on similar topics if you are so inclined.
Thank you so very much for taking the time to present to us yesterday! We all really enjoyed your presentation and, I swear, our workroom feels happier today! I think my favorite part was hearing your emphasis on the 5 things - it's an easy step that all of us can take, but I love that it's a way to re-route your brain to be more positive!
Would you consider coming back and presenting for us another time? I really think that your presentation is phenomenal (as are you!) We all just really had a great time with it.
I have already forwarded your contact information to some of my friends and colleagues at other firms. I want to say again, how much I enjoyed your presentation. I thought you were frankly very brave to get up in front of a group of lawyers at a lunchtime CLE and talk about- gasp-Love! You were a delight and I am already working on my practice of gratitude. Thank you. I appreciate you.
I absolutely loved the presentation you gave at the seminar! As I told you and Pat afterward, having an “attitude of gratitude” really does make a difference in a person’s life. It inspired me to begin writing in my gratitude journal again! Although I enjoyed your entire presentation, I think the one thing that really resonated with me was the way in which you handled your son's injury. I have no doubt that your positive, calming attitude helped not only you, but everyone else around you, to include your son and his care givers. I am so happy to hear he is doing well! Thanks again for you're uplifting words. They came at the perfect time in my life!
Your presentation was well rehearsed, to the point and moved along at a pace the kept our attention. Well done! The message was a breath of fresh air which anyone can benefit from. Years ago when I went through a very difficult time I relied upon Norman Vincent Peale’s "The Power of Positive Thinking”, reading parts of it over and over until I had my thoughts turned around. Thanks again!
Have you ever had something happen and when it was over, it hit you like a ton of bricks that it was a “Light bulb moment?”
Your presentation was a light bulb moment for me today! Let’s just say that I truly believe you we a gift brought to me specifically for me, and for that I will be: ETERNALLY GRATEFUL!
Thank you so much!
I was truly grateful for your presentation on Wednesday. Without going into the boring details, I wanted you to know that it was exactly what I needed to hear that day. Thinking of the things I’m grateful for helped me get out of my pity bag and face what I needed to do.
Thanks again for your wonderful presentation!
I was really impressed by the talk you gave. A good reminder on attitude and some good practical ideas for cultivating that. It was definitely a very uplifting talk. We might need another one of those next year or in the dead of winter!
I look forward to going to the MPA convention every year and enjoyed your presentation, especially the emphasis on the importance to the company and its individuals of positive relationships at work.
Thank you for the delightful presentation.
I thought your presentation was wonderful and greatly needed in our profession. Most of us are six figures in debt with student loans in a profession that cannot adequately employ us with income to ever pay it back. Suzy Orman actually gave her advice to one man on her show in a similar situation by only stating, "Please don't kill yourself." That is all the advice new lawyers are being given in this new economy. So your words are sorely needed for all new lawyers or other in debt professionals everywhere!
I attended your presentation to the MPA Family Law sectional at WBD today. It was very valuable eye-opener for me, in that it made me aware of how my positive/negative attitude at the office affects my coworkers negatively/positively. The most powerful quote in this presentation was that of Napoleon Hill RE: our words plant a seed of success or failure in the minds of others. Another creative idea for your organization is to make small plaques/stickers/lapel buttons with this quote on it. This is such a great word of wisdom which is applicable to everyone in any career field! Keep spreading the word!!
Thank you for the nice luncheon and presentation. I loved the idea of 5 things to be grateful every day. I sent mine to my husband right when I got back from the presentation.
I have spoken with our HR and Office Manager and they would love to have you back to do the gratitude seminar, this time for our entire staff. I found it to be amazing and feel they will love it.
At our STARCON16 conference in Scottsdale, Arizona, Patricia Carl and Ruth McCurdy from Go-Gratitude spoke about exactly that, gratitude. I want to thank them for such a superb presentation. We all get so busy in our lives and it is so easy to forget gratitude. As their mission statement says, Go-Gratitude cultivates happiness in the world by being a catalyst and mentor for the practice of sharing appreciation and gratitude. They did exactly that in the 1.5 hours they presented. One of my resolutions for 2017 is to incorporate some of what I learned into my daily personal and professional life. I also heard from many attendees they are making a practice of doing the same, incorporating appreciation and gratitude into their daily lives. When people in the audience take what they learn from a seminar and incorporate it into their lives, you know you have presented a successful seminar. Thank you, Pat and Ruth, for an outstanding presentation. I am grateful for both of you for being part of the success of STARCON16!
